RSLogix 500 Pro, V9, fta 3.40 activation:
RSLOGIX 500 V9, Win 7, 64 bit. Factory Talk Activation 3.40
Step 1
-- SERIAL#-- 1014
(#4 denotes Pro version, #2 normal version) then any 6 #’s
Serial#--1014123456
Step 2--Hex Edit RSWl032.dll, found at C/program files (x86)/Rockwell software/RSlogix 500 english.
At address FC330-- 09 0A change 34 02 to 30 90 and save.
Step 3-Copy and Paste below string to” ftasystem” license folder, found at (windows 7) ....user/public/public documents/Rockwell automation/activation.

have another look for the file, it should be there. Have you ticked "show all folders" in" control panel/folders"

I look a the right place, it seems problem tha tI use German Win 7.

This folder is not there.

Is there difference between a pro and natural installation?

1014... is for the pro and 1012... is normal version?

re version extra bits in Pro are extra comms ability. Win 7, German/English version l would not think should be different. Look in other folders, i.e. do a search for activation, as it will be there or it is hidden.

I have re read your post and l think you haven't installed Factory talk manager where this goes into. You need FTA v 3.40 or better.
Am l right?

FTA is the way the licenses are looked after, so YES you must have it.

So I have now installed the newest Version of FTA 3.61

But the activation doesn´t seem to work...

...the grace Period will expire in 20h
the grace periad begian in 6 Days and 4 h...

I follow all three steps....

I have RS500pro installed three times....
