A couple questions, what is being changed by the hex editing in the dll files? I have a version 2.59 of RSLinx, how do I find out what to edit in the dll file?

Also, what exactly is the file Flexeccpatch.zip used for, as in what is the purpose?

Hmm I tried the License above but when i open factorytalk 6.1 me it says my 5 day grace period has expired. I can see the key with the factoryTalk Activation Manager. Not sure why FTV 6.1 is not seeing it.

Alas.....you are correct Stinger, that method is not working, and I could use the same info on FT View 6.1 as you.

Anyone give me a clue as to how to figure out what I need to edit for RSLinx 2.59 and FT View 6.1?

If you can't access your licence there are some troubles with
starting the licensing server on your computers...

I think the only problem we have is the editing of the associated dll files, as we are using versions that are not referenced here.

For example,

FTView 6.1
RSLinx 2.59

I believe that is what is causing our issues....

After running RMTOOLS and checking the license file it comes back with

Why bother cracking licenses when you can live within the grace period (and be "legal")?
Just run this batch script when a license expires!
(tested on windows XP SP3. you need to make some modifications for Windows 7, but the concept is the same)

Hello, guys!!

I followed your instructions to activate the newer softwares of Rockwell Software but the RSLogix 5000 (v19 e v20) and RSNetworx (DN e CN) didn't work.
If I start someone of then I get a message error about "grace period".
I also followed the tip about a batch file (I'm using the XP SP3 too) and didn't work.

Can someone help me about the correct activation mode for RSLgx5k and RSNetworx?
