WinCC Unified View Of Things
SIMATIC WinCC Unified "View of Things", known as "VoT" for short, is a web application in the memory of the SIMATIC S7-1500.
The webpages are configured with WinCC Unified (TIA Portal).
WinCC Unified View of Things uses a limited number of screen objects in comparison to the screen objects of the Unified Comfort Panels or the WinCC Unified runtime.
The screen objects supported with WinCC Unified View of Things behave identically to other WinCC Unified systems.
You do not need to write any HTML code. You can add the objects from the toolbox to the screen you have created in the manner you are accustomed to.
Principle of operation
In the WinCC Unified VoT web application, a web browser displays the data that you have configured with WinCC Unified in TIA Portal for a PLC.
The VoT application is created by the engineering system in the project tree under the "Web applications" entry
(you can făcute one VoT application for a PLC).
The application is downloaded to the S7-1500 controller.
Using a web browser (Chrome), you can access the web server of the S7-1500 controller.
The Figure below shows a web visualization which can be used to monitor and control the system.
