Solution 1: Use the Registry File Reset
1. Close WinCC and Graphics Designer.
2. Navigate to the installation directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Siemens\WinCC\bin
3. Locate the file GrafexeSettings.reg.
4. Double-click GrafexeSettings.reg to import the default settings.
5. Restart WinCC or reboot your workstation.
Solution 2: Manual Registry Coordinate Reset
If a property window or editor is pushed outside the visible screen coordinates (a common issue after changing display settings or user credentials):
1. Press Win + R, type regedit, and press Enter.
2. Go to the registry path:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Siemens\WinCC\Graphics Designer\Settings
3. Locate the following values and modify them to bring the window back on screen:
• Set PropertyDialogX to 100
• Set PropertyDialogY to 100
• Ensure PropertyDialogVisible is set to 1 (or enabled)
4. Close regedit and reopen Graphics Designer. |
