I understand there's compatibility issues between 7.0.0 and 7.0.3 because I've dealt with them before, but now there's also compatibility issues between my wincc 7.0.0 and the wincc from the factory station, also wincc 7.0.0. There's problems where the Pdl files won't open in the Graphic editor, others that say unknown object when it's just a static text item and also there's no option for transparency settings in the wincc version from the factory station. What is the problem, and why such differences in the same version of WinCC? Now I have to redo all the PDL files that won't open on the factory station. How could I manage this somehow else? Thanks. Thanks. fflori, the problem is not on version... So if you have v7.0 and install on other computer V7.0 normally you should not have problems unless....on your XP... You have to install all .NET 1.1 to 3.5 SP1 as I remember because if on the other computer is installed a .NET object you cannot display....if you did not installed it before.... So the order to install correctly is... Install all .NET step by step...eventually Visyual Studio 2005 3008 will be better... Open WinCC and add .NET and .WPF objects Make the same if is an upper version of WinCC...
