A broker is required to transfer the VDA5050 protocol between Fleetmanager and Plant Simulation. In this application example, a mosquitto MQTT broker with standard configuration is used. The virtual AGV fleet is set up and operated in Plant Simulation.
This application example provides configuration guidelines for the SIMOVE Fleetmanager and Plant Simulation to create a simulated AGV fleet that is controlled by the Fleetmanager. The application example shows the necessary steps to configure the fleet manager, set up the virtual AGV fleet and process driving and transport orders.
