I have a file with the extension. STU ver 2.2 which I can not open-
Can anyone help me?

unfortunately with unity pro v 2.3 can not open the project that has the extension. stu

Did you try to rename your .stu file to .sta?
It did work for me when I don't have the right version of Unity.
