| Hello to all friends: The control system of PLC-S5.115U is used in an industrial machine.And the specifications of UNIOP are as follow: Model:EK04 Part N:6ZA 983-2 Shal N:4898 Vers:HW Vers:SW 1012-4083 Because of power fluctuations,UNIOP is crashed and is not repairable. I had a few questions: FIRST QUESTION:What company i can buy a extra UNIOP?What software this UNIOP is programming?How can i get the software and interface cable of programming? SECOND QUESTION:Do buying new UNIOP can help to solve the problem, even though ; i do not have the BACK UP of UNIOP program and i do not have to access the PLC S5-CPU115U program.Please, help. |

If you do not have the back up then better to repair maybe EEPROM is not damaged... |

May we know on what type of equipment was used ?
I have an project for that type of panel connected to S5 115 CPU.

| You can try back up eeprom chip with chip reader. |

You must first find the eeprom chip on the board and see if it is supported. I use the programmer in link attached. Make backup of eeprom from new unit before overwriting.
