"TIA Portal Openness Explorer" helps you to obtain an overview of the TIA Portal Openness API.
By means of the TIA Portal Openness API interface, you can integrate the TIA Portal in your development environment and automate your engineering tasks. The "TIA Portal Openness Explorer" tool provides you with a specific view of the TIA Portal Openness object model.
Description
As of STEP 7 or WinCC V13 SP1, TIA Portal Openness is included in the scope of delivery of STEP 7 or WinCC in the TIA Portal. TIA Portal Openness is installed by default as of STEP 7 or WinCC V17.
With "TIA Portal Openness Explorer", you quickly obtain an overview of the TIA Portal Openness API.
The tool is independent of the TIA Portal Openness interface version. The TIA Portal Openness interface is specified when the tool is started.
In this application example, the tool was used with TIA Portal Openness V17.
