Hello there,
I am a beginner in Allen Bradley automation and I have a question about the tags in rslogix 5000. I knew that the controller automatically creates its tags when you insert a new module.

So, basically for Local:4:I.Data3 we have the followings:
Local means that the module is conneced to a controller accros a backplane or with a parallel link;
4 means that the module is module 4 (located in the 5th slot in the rack)
I means that the bit is an input;
Data - includes the type of data (this is default for I/O)
3 is the bit number;

this module is a DINT (32bit) and is connected through an adapter to the PLC.

I saw in the software an Analog input module (where I do not know where is placed) and it has the following tag: Local:4:I:Ch3.Data3
Can someoane explain me what is the deal with the Ch
