Hi,

I going to Install a surge protection device before a PLC.
I'm using Siemens S7 1200 1212C AC/DC/RLY model.
Do you guys have any suggestions.

For safe solution you have to use Relay cards between your field & Digital modules and isolators for Analog signals.
If you need a protection against lightning and transient over-voltages then you have to take into account an electrical system protection
