Hello Colleagues,
I just install the studio5000 v24+v30 in my laptop and I`m so frustrade, the system is very slow an takes so long for editing and open the objects.
I saw this system working very well in old PCs before, but i have no idea whats is going on with mine.
Windows7 Core I7 2.7GHz, 16GB RAM 64bit.

Can you help me with? Thank you.

Yes I already did this many times, the strange thing is all my other programs including Siemens is working pretty fast, just the studio 5000 takes forever to do any function, especially download and upload.

Any another special configuration? Thank you

I have experienced this in the past (on a VM) but unfortunately could not find a solution. I eventually reinstalled the software which sorted it out for me.

How much hdd space do you have left? what is the speed of your HDD or are you using an SSD? what size is your page file? and are you running the software on the host OS or in a VM?

I`m using SSD Sansung in my pc, and I`m using it in the OS, not a VM.
I have 200gb available and my project is very small, just 5mb, few commands, i really don't know whats is going on.

maybe you can help me, as i told you, i saw bad computer running fast with AB softwares.

Hello colleagues,

I was following some instruction from this forum and I did remove the entire studio5000 and extensions from my computer and i had install everything again, now the software itself seems to be faster, the only problem I`m facing now is the communication between my PC and the PCU, seems very slow, to upload and edit program online is very very bad, to have an idea, to upload the online data from the PCU its take minimum 10 minutes, my programa is very small, just 15 routines, i have checked the speed of my network adapter and I its great, and also i had tried use another USB/LAN adapter.
Do you have any ideia what can be? any special setup in RSlinx 3.9? Studio5000 v30.00.

Hi silvanrc.

Are you using an antivirus with a firewall?
If you are and have not added the Rockwell software to your exception list then try disabling your antivirus and firewall to see if that helps.

Sorry for the delay, i had tested many option, I had remove the antivirus and also stopped the firewall services, no way to fix this problem yet.
I was try found something in the forum but no solution at moment.

Hello Colleagues,
I figure out the problem, the adobe acrobat reader was the problem, for some reason it was making my connection very slow, so I just uninstall this program and now my Studio 5000 is very very fast, before takes 10 minutes to load my plc tags and now just 1 second.
