(im not sure) the thing is that the v4.0 link has a brokon archive - STEP7_MicroWIN_V4.0.rar - the data2.cab is not extracting. is v4.0 is the right program to install (if not, please advise), then please, pack it and upload it again; if not, please tell me ehat i have to do to install microwin thanks in advance!!! I'm trying installing 4.0SP6 but it has rar pswd, someone plz share the rar pswd...! look it's true..there are some problems with drivers compatibilities between NT and Win XP..and probably you have already installed on your computer a Simatic Net Version... So you have to follow the steps with the SP8 or SP9....and probably with the others SP...: 1. Go to the BIOS settings of your computer and make sure hyper-threading is disabled... 2. Install first time (probably you've already installed) and you'll get the errors you described..but go finish the installation in this stage and reboot your computer.... Remember that rebooting is required... 3.Then go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the software you've had installed and reboot your computer...that's it.. 4. Install the software again and this time you will not receive any errors Enjoy...
