Solved: Tag syntax for direct reading parameters from Siemens drives to OPC via Profibus
Drives: Simoreg 6RA70, Simovert 6SE70, MicroMaster 4, Simodrive POSMO, Sinamics G120/S120.
1) Reading of parameters from any Siemens drive with ProfiDrive.ProfilServer
Software: [Simatic Net 2008 + ProfilServer from Lenze Engineer] or Simatic Net 2005 (OPC does not work with Drive Monitor 5.4.2, but ProfilServer included)
OPC: ProfiDrive.ProfilServer
Tag syntax examples:
OPC_SimaticNET_PD/DP2___brd2_seg0_dev3_/ParI13D2
OPC_SimaticNET_PD/DP2___brd2_seg0_dev3_/ParI964S0D2
brd2 = CP Profibus in slot 2 of Station Configuration Editor
seg0 = always 0
dev3 = drive DP-address
ParI13 = parameter r13, no indexes
ParI964S0 = parameter r964.1 (S0 =Index 1, S1 =Index 2, …)
D2 = data type Signed Integer16
Table of data types in Simatic Net Manual 2005_Vol.2 «mn_opc2_76», page 68.
2) Reading of parameters from G120 (from FW 4.6)/S120 with Unspecified S7 Connection
Unspecified S7 Connection must be created in Net Pro for OPC server.
OPC: OPC.SimaticNet
Tag syntax example:
S7:[S7 connection_1]DB2,W1024,1
S7 connection_1 = accurate name of S7 connection
DB2 = parameter r2
W = data type Unsigned Integer16
1024 = axis * offset 1024 + index = 1*1024+0
(S120 included up to 4 axises)
Table of data types in Simatic Net Manual 2005_Vol.2 «mn_opc2_76», page 89.
3) Reading cyclical PZD words from any Siemens drive
Drive must be added on bus in HW Config, in drive slot 1 - PKW module, in drive slot 2 - Universal module with defined Input address area (up to 16 words).
OPC: OPC.SimaticNet
Tag syntax example:
DP:[CP 5611]Slave3_EW8,1
CP 5611 = accurate name of CP Profibus
Slave3 = drive DP-address
E (or I) = Input area
W = data type Unsigned Integer16
8 = addressing: word PZD1 started from byte 8 (PZD1 =8, PZD2 =10, ..., PZD16 =38)
Here is possible flexible reading of any bit, byte, word, dword.
Table of data types in Simatic Net Manual 2005_Vol.2 «mn_opc2_76», page 31.
**
- Last Drive Monitor 5.5.2 has not connection via OPC. Drive Monitor 5.4.2 has it.
- Only one identity of Drive Monitor can be running at the PC.
- Drive Monitor can connect via USS (COM1..4), via OPC.SimaticNet.PD (Profibus, Access point S7 Online = PC internal), and via Profibus (opening from Simatic Manager + Drive ES, Access point S7 Online = Profibus).
- To one drive can simultaneously connect 2 PCs with Drive Monitor: PC1 via USS, PC2 via OPC.SimaticNet.PD or via Profibus.
- All listed Siemens drives can directly connect with Simatic OP paneles via Profibus. Addresing is similar with OPC Unspecified S7 connection, but without offset 1024. |
