|
|
Hello,
I have a S7-300 plc installed with diffirent modules which work fine except one analog input modules. In fact, the values of transmitters in the scada are fixed and didn't change which is not logic; In the past, this problem occured 3 times and each time we disconnect the power supply of the module and re-conect again and it works but I want a radical solution.
Thank you |

The radical solution is simple..replace it..
By the way..what is exactly the type? |

Read this manual
https://cache.industry.siemens.com/dl/files/151/19026151/att_878772/v1/s7300_failsafe_signal_modules_hardware_manual_en-US_en-US.pdf
and check on what type of application you are
What diagnostic messages do you have?
If there is a Firmware update error this could be one of the cause of your problem
Try to make an update of the firmware.
Switch the supply voltage of the FCPU/IM OFF/ON,
• Remove/insert F-SM, or
• Switch external auxiliary voltage of FSM OFF/ON
Then, repeat the firmware update
Check also the cables and wiring. Measure the L+ while in error.
Did the F-CPU goes in STOP?
Read Diagnostic information and tell what you get?
All in one my first opinion is to repeat a firmware update and check if the problem still does occur? |

Thank you a lot for your help. To be honnest I am not familiar with Siemens, I used Allen Bradley so I don't know exactly how to do the steps that you advise me to follow. In fact I have step 7 v5.5 installed.
The wiring in the attached file is Wiring scheme B: 2-wire transducer, external sensor supply, NO ?
please note that kfd2-stc4-ex2 is a smart transmitter power supply
