i am new in allen bradley plcs and i have an slc 5/03 with a panel view plus 1000 connected with rs232 cable.My question is : Can i operate to the program of the plc and the touchscreen through the ethernet port of the panelview without removing the rs232 cable?

First, what is the tip number of the PanelView and the SLC?
If it what I think it is, both the SLC and PanelView have RS-485 connectors.
You will have to use the 1747-PIC to program the PanelView with the PanelView software. You can find all the information at the A-B website, go to the Literature section and search for the Publication 2711-UM014. It describes the different Models and gives connection diagrams.
