Software for integration of the SITRANS product family in SIMATIC

The new SITRANS Library enables process instruments from the SITRANS and SIPART product families to be integrated into the SIMATIC PCS 7 process control system, safely, efficiently and in high quality. This integration is done graphically on APL- based functional blocks.
Buttons and icons are available for display in operator and maintenance stations (OS, MS). These designs are also based on APL software.
The library tool provides extensive benefits with respect to the management of the plant lifecycle. It provides important device functions in both the engineering, as well as in the process control phase. These features have been selected exclusively for enhanced process control. Commissioning and maintenance of the devices is done via SIMATIC PDM.
