The states of machines on site can be visualized by signal column. These are used on machines to control complex processes, as visual warning devices or to display individual production stages. This application example describes a defined signaling concept with an IO-Link-capable signal column.
A signaling concept describes which color on the signal column represents which machine status. In this application example, such a signaling concept is implemented with a signal column. The required components and the associated parameterization are explained.
