A) Description of the Toolbox CD content
----------------------------------------
The CD root directory contains a file setup.exe.
After starting this file the program guides you through the installation
of the software components.
1. Config data

config_data\

Config_data contains the configuration data setup.
The setup will install the configuration data for SINUMERIK 828D to your PC.
The configuration data consist of the Siemens examples and the recovery
system for usage with the RCS Commander. For more please refer to the
included siemense_828D.txt, which is installed with the configuration data.
2. Examples

+----Easy_Extend\

+----Tool_management\
+----Toolcarrier\
Contains examples for Easy Extend scripts, PLC application and tool
management startup. This directory will not be installed on the PC by the
Toolbox CD setup! Please refer to the Toolbox CD directly.
Each example comes with its own readme.txt.
3. Software License Terms
licenses\
Software License Terms from SIEMENS and Open Source components.
The licenses will not be installed to your PC.
4. Programming Tool PLC

Tool for programming and debugging the PLC inside SINUMERIK 828D.
The directory contains a setup which installs the PLC programming tool
to your PC.
5. Startup Tool for SINUMERIK

Startup tool for SINUMERIK especially for drive startup and axis optimization
B) File transfer between SINUMERIK 828D and PC
----------------------------------------------
For file transfer between a PC and the SINUMERIK 828D please use the
Access MyMachine P2P (PC) which is distributed as a different CD.
This CD can be ordered with order number: 6FC5860-7YC00-0YA0
