Example how to connect inverters to the charged DC link
Support of SINAMICS DCC V15.1 in the TIA Portal V15.1 together with Startdrive V15.1
For drive systems with a common DC link power supply, there is often a requirement to connect inverters to the charged DC link. For SINAMICS S120, as a result of the DC link capacitances integrated in the devices, additional components are required to pre-charge these capacitances.
The objective of this application is to provide users with configuring support to select the hardware components required. Further, an application example is provided to implement the correct control, which the user can integrate into his project.
To control the pre-charging circuit, an application example was generated using the graphic DCC programming tool for SINAMICS; this application provides the necessary monitoring and interlocking functions.
