Download of the SIMOTION Firmware Support Package for SIMOTION firmware version change (Runtime kernel) via device update tool
With the device update tool, SIMOTION provides a user-friendly solution for upgrading SIMOTION devices - both for machine manufacturers and machine operators.
Before you can upgrade the firmware (V4.1 SP2 or later), you have to install the latest Firmware Support Package (FWSP).
With each new Firmware Version we will deliver the corresponding FWSP.
The FWSP is provided hereby separately for download.

Controller support
The C240 is supported as of SIMOTION Version V4.0.0.2 and the C240 PN as of Version V4.1.2.3.
As of V4.0 the C230-2 with the order number "6AU1230-2AA00-0AA0" is not supported anymore. However, this controller can still be engineered with e.g. SCOUT V4.1 and Runtime-System V3.2.
As of V4.2 the C230-2 with the order number "6AU1230-2AA01-0AA0" is not supported anymore. However, this controller can still be engineered with e.g. SCOUT V4.2 and Runtime-System V4.1.
