For this purpose, the behavior of the field technology and the technology of the production plant can be mapped and simulated in real time or in a virtual time. Either a real or virtual automation system is used for control (SIMIT Virtual Controller). Upgrades are available for upgrading from SIMIT V11.1 to V11.2. Projects based on SIMIT V8.0/V8.1/V9.0/V9.1/V10.0/V10.1/V10.2/V10.3/V11.0/V11.1 can continue to be used with SIMIT V11.2.
With the release of SIMIT Simulation Platform V11.2, SIMIT Simulation Platform V11.1 will transition to Product Phase Out on 01.10.2024. During Phase Out the product will continue to be available for sale and will receive Technical Support. Additional updates are not planned for SIMIT Simulation Platform V11.1.
