The standard application SIMATIC RotaryKnife as a part of the Converting Toolbox is based on the SIMATIC control system S7-1500T. It is providing standard applications for rotary knifes, eccentric sheers, e.g. for foil, metal, paper, cardboard, etc. Features: Motion profiles (constant acceleration, jerk limiting, polynomial, sinusoidal or combination), freely definable cutting profiles.
The standard application SIMOTION Rotary Knife was developed with the objective to stil a flexible solution for cutting web material as e.g. paper, film or metal.

The standard application is based on the system platform SIMATIC S7-1500T and provides different Rotary Knife functionalities. The application includes a machine mode manager, the cam calculation, and print mark synchronisation. The application consists of libraries which can be integrated in the user TIA Portal project and also a complete demonstration project.
