SIMATIC Cartesian Portal can control up to 6 axes with synchronous Point to Point (sPTP) movement. The plug & play solution offers a comfortable user interface for configuring, programming, operating, and diagnosing the kinematics via the HMI.

The standard application SIMATIC Cartesian Portal (SCP) is a paid software solution for controlling cartesian portals, consisting of a PLC program and predefined HMI faceplates. The operating concept allows the user to create, edit and execute kinematics programs entirely on the HMI without the engineering system.

Kinematics with up to 6 positioning axes with synchronous point-to-point contrl (sPTP) are supported. Several portals can be controlled simultaneously on a SIMATIC S7-1500 CPU, as well as up to 25 additional positioning axes.
