I have a problem passing variable between Simatic CPU and Schneider HMI.
The connection is working properly, i can access the inputs and outputs but cannot read the variable value from siemens cpu.
For example on my siemens i want to read the analogic input 0, i've made the hardware configuration and the software as well, i can see the value of the analogic input in voltage with TIA but cannot see on my HMI.
TIA monitoring:

I have 2 variables
'Analog0' as 'integer' at the address of Analog 0 input (%IW64).
The second variable what i want to pass at the HMI is 'Normal1' as 'Real' at the address '%MD20'.
How can i pass the address of this variable to my HMI?
I'm using TIA V12 and Vijeo 6.2.
My configuration is:
Simatic S7-1200(CPU 1212C) and Schneider HMI (HMISTU655), the link between them are via Ethernet cable(Simatic -> ethernet switch -> HMI). |

Hi,
is better to transfer the interested values to a DB.
On this DB the values must be marked as visible on HMI.
I guess that you have just to add the "tick"mark" visible on HMI.
Let us know your progress.

Assuming you are using something like Vijeo Designer...
It is important to rember that DBs can be optimized or non-optimized in the PLC...
This is important since the HMI software is probably not set up to address the DB tags in an optimized method, only by discreet addressing.
With respect to accessing M memory of inputs or outputs; since they are addressed directly you shouldn't have a problem; just make sure the variables are marked as accessible from HMI.
Hope this helps!
