Mitsubishi PLCs can be extended via a PROFINET module, enabling the direct connection of SIMATIC Ident readers. To control this combination, we offer you the GX Works3 library "Simatic_Ident".
This application example describes the commissioning of SIMATIC Ident RFID readers with the example of a SIMATIC RF615R and a SIMATIC RF340R on a Mitsubishi controller. The connection is via PROFINET and the configuration environment is GX Works3.

For the programming interface between the Ident device (e.g. RF680R) and the user program, we supply the Mitsubishi library "Simatic_Ident". The "Ident_Profile" function statement contained within it supports the following functions:

Configuration of the reader
Command processing
Reading and writing of transponder data
Diagnostics
