This application example shows the operation of an S7-1200 controller and two PN/CAN LINK network transitions, which are connected to each other via PROFINET. The following is explained:
• How to configure messages and to assign parameters to tags
• How to insert blocks and go online
The PN/CAN LINKs are connected to a SIMATIC S7 controller via PROFINET. The configuration takes place on a PC with TIA Portal installed.
Send and receive messages with a data record length ≤ 8 bytes can be configured for sending and receiving in the "CAN transparent" operating mode.
The "CAN_transparent_TIAproj_V15.zip" file contains the application example for TIA Portal V15.
