|
|
Hello,
I have a Simatic Net PCMCIA Profibus Card, Adapter for CP5511/CP5512.
I am not all too familiar with Siemens.
The card is a 32Bit card and would work on one of my newer laptops, as it still has PCMCIA.
What can this card be used for?
Can I use it to program S7 300/400 and others?
Or is it worthless now, because too old? |

For driver probably can find in Simatic Net 2000
11. PROFIBUS Network Card CP 5511 (PCMCIA)
Drivers for the CP 5511
| Code: | | For the SIMATIC NET PROFIBUS CP 5511 module, additional software for configuring the PCMCIA slot is required under Windows NT 4.0 and in some situations under Windows 98 as well. You will find this software in the CP subfolder SW\CP5511. The Award Cardware for Windows NT 4.0 is located here in the Award subfolder. The SystemSoft Cardwizard is supplied on a diskette with the CP 5511. For further information, read the appropriate readme files or the Installation Instructions for the CP 5511. |

I have the CP5512 in my toughbook on Windows XP 32-bit.
I normally use it for COM-Profibus or STEP 7 and works without issue on my ASPC2 Slave or my 315-2DP or my 319F CPU |
