Signaling System Based on the SIMATIC NET OPC Alarm and Event/OPC UA Server

The core of this signaling system is made up of
the classic SIMATIC NET OPC Alarm and Events server on COM/DCOM basis and
the current SIMATIC NET OPC UA server (Alarms & Conditions)

Messages are actively forwarded from the involved S7 CPUs in the STEP 7 program to the OPC server via alarm blocks. An individually programmed OPC Alarm & Events client or an OPC UA client in C# receives the messages from the SIMATIC NET OPC server and visualizes them as text in a Windows application.
