SIMATIC Alarm Handling for SINAMICS drives
With the Alarm Handling application the alarm, fault and safety messages of SINAMICS drives can be read and added to the SIMATIC S7-1500 alarm display. The messages are added with the time stamp of the event in the drive and with the message texts of the SINAMICS drive. This provides tremendous support for the first fault evaluation at the machine.
The purpose of the LAlarmHdl is to collect all messages from SINAMICS drives. These messages can be viewed at the Siemens HMIs via the standard control "Alarm View", the web server of the PLC as well as the TIA Portal Engineering in the diagnostics alarm display. The messages are removed when the problem is resolved.
19 PROFIdrive error classes is sent, Alarm Handling integrates the detailed SINAMICS message text.
The library contains two different software levels that meet the requirements of the software structure:
A fully autonomous solution that scans the configured IO system for SINAMICS drives and automatically sends messages to the PLC. This is preferred for central alarm handling. This should be selected if many drive objects are included in the project. This functionality is provided by using the function block (FB) LAlarmHdl_DriveAlarmsIOSystem.
A modular and efficient approach where a programmer can add a message to a SINAMICS drive object. This should be used only in a few drives are present in the project. This functionality is provided by the function block (FB) LAlarmHdl_AddSINADriveAlarms.
