The standard application ACL for SIMATIC enables the flexible configuration of sequences and the flow control of cyclic processes.
A machine, regardless of the tasks it is supposed to perform, usually has many sub-functions. These sub-functions can be combined in a variety of sequences. For the engineer or the operator, this means a lot of programming effort.
ACL makes this programming work easier for the user by combining predefined actions, built-in timers and fully parameterizable digital and analog conditions according to the modular principle in a simple user interface to form a sequence.
The application offers the following functions:
Flexible sequence configuration and flow control of cyclical processes
Cycle and action time monitoring with various reaction options when the time limit is exceeded
Action-dependent and action-independent time delays
Configurable analog, digital and cycle number-dependent conditions with various reaction options
Modes: fully automatic, semi-automatic, repositioning
Error handling included
Easily expandable matrix
Detailed functional descriptions can be found in the application manual supplied. The ACL application is described in the manual using a technologically independent example. The supplied example includes the ACL application, example function blocks and an HMI user interface through which all available ACL functions can be accessed and tested.

The application can run on any S7-1500 CPU.
