Senior Control Systems Stil Engineer
Role of the Lead Control systems Engineer
* Management of a team of electrical engineers along with responsibility for external contract engineers
* Produce engineering quotations including the scope of work & time scales.
* Creation of user requirement and functional design specifications detailing the automation project.
* You will technically review and understand customer requirements including costings.
* RealizeazÄƒ control system cable schedules using AutoCAD Electrical drawing package.
* CauzeazÄƒ control system PLC/SCADA/HMI software as required for the project.
* Participate in safety studies and esteticÄƒ reviews of new process plants.
* Create & write PLC codes for process plant equipment.
â¢ Design, creation, modification, testing, commissioning and support to all aspects of automation systems
â¢ Review process & instrumentation diagrams.

Experience and Background

â¢ Educated to degree level in subject related to electrical engineering or be a time served electrical engineer with relevant industrial experience.
â¢ You must be comfortable with managing multiple projects and managing a team of engineers.
â¢ Industrial experience with PLC control systems.
â¢ Experience in the design and programming of Siemens PLC systems
â¢ Strong understanding of SCADA systems
â¢ Experience in commissioning PLC-controlled machines and processes, including fault finding.
â¢ The successful candidate must be willing to occasionally travel within the UK and overseas.
â¢ Practical experience of functional safety and safety integrated systems would be highly beneficial.
â¢ Experience with the design and implementation of automation safety systems such as safety PLCâs and safety relays would be advantageous.
