Dear all,
I want to communicate Schnieder Micro twido PLC with PC usb port, so can i use usb to RS232 converter and then RS232 to RS 485 converter.
If yes then plz provide me pinouts of PLC to RS485 standard connector.
Is it possible and is it alternate of TSX PCX 1031.

Under the Port 1 Remote Link make sure that the protocol type is set to Modbus and that each Twido controller has a unique address.
Set up your network so that you have a Modbus Master (Address 1) and a single Twido PLC (Address 2 thru 29).
Verify that the communications paramaters are set correctly.
Verfify that you have the proper terminating resistors connected to the network.
Check to make sure that you can communicate to this PLC. If communiction is sucessful add an additional Twido PLC to the network and properly trminate the network.
Verify communciation to both Twido PLCs.
If you are attempting to read a Modbus 3X or 4X equivalent register they must first be utilized in the application program before the Twido PLC will respond.

If i want to use simple RS485 converter commonly available in market than is it working same as cable 1031 |
