Can we control Schneider VFD with Siemens Programing (TIA Portal) by MC Block (MC Power, MC Velocity)? |

Yes if the drive accept PROFIDRIVE Telegram and PTO inputs (Pulse Train Output) ..check MC Inputs and Outputs |

Yes if the drive accept PROFIDRIVE Telegram and PTO inputs (Pulse Train Output) ..check MC Inputs and Outputs |
Dear, Profidrive telegram is ok. About PTO inputs, i think no neccessary because i control vfd follow speed, not pulse.
Beside that, after configuring hardware and software, all connection is ok.
I run VFD by enable "enable" pin on MC Home and enable "execute" pin on MC Movevelocity", VFD run ok but when disable two pin above ("enable" and "execute") then run again, VFD not run (no fault).
I default VFD to factory setting then do above steps, VFD run again but only once time.
Can u give me advices about this?

Have an example on how to use PROFIDRIVE TELEGRAM for read/write Control Word and Status Word
Start and Stop must be send by Telegram ..check Control Word..and these must activate MC Operations

Dear varella,
Control word just change when you don't use MC block.
As I know, when you use MC block, we don't care control word. We can use memory bit to control drive, right?
Any idea about this?
