Hi,
We have a Old SCADA running in Movicon 9.1. Now our plant is upgrading to newer systems, so we want to upgrade to Movicon 11.5.
Please someone help in this regard. How to convert a project from Movicon 9.1 to 11.5 version. No documents available in the web.
A help will be highly appreciated
PS: can not take Progea tech support as the contract period completed long ago.  |

Among the Movicon X tools there is the XMLConverter that can help you in the conversion.
With Movicon 9.1 you can export the variables database, the dataloggers and the alarms in XML files.
With the tool you can import these files in a MoviconX project.
The problem is that you have to know very well the process..
The symbols in the Mov9.1 screens can be saved as template in a template library and imported in Movicon X2, ready to be put into new screen. The Mov9.1 template library can be opened with Movicon X2.What is not possible to import are what in Movicon 9.1 were called Object, like buttons, hot regions,…IL scripts can be copied, basic may require some revision if graphical object are used in the code.
