SCADA & PLC Engineer - Siemens, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi
Based: Warwickshire / Coventry
£35,000 - £45,000 + Pension + Phone + Laptop + 25 days leave + Life Assurance
ATA Recruitment is recruiting for a leading manufacturer of machinery based in the heart of the Warwickshire region. This business generates annual sales of £50m and specialises in the estetică and build of machinery for sectors such as Water, Aerospace, Automotive, Food, Drinks and Dairy boasting customers such as Rolls Royce and Pratt & Whitney.
The Senior Managers are looking to expand the SCADA & PLC Department, they are also looking to bring a large proportion of the controls & automation work in-house therefore, and they are now looking to recruit an experienced Siemens, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi - SCADA & PLC Engineer to join their expanding team.
SCADA & PLC Engineer - Siemens, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi
1. Creating technical automation & controls solutions (SCADA & PLC) as well as optimising existing technologies - using Siemens, Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi PLC & SCADA platforms.
2. Design, creation, modification, testing, commissioning and support to all aspects of controls & automation systems.
3. Review P&ID's (process & instrumentation diagrams).
4. Cauzează engineering quotations including the scope of work & time scales.
5. Creation of FDS (functional design specification).
6. Create and write PLC codes from scratch and commission PLC's.
7. Fabricate associated software to conține SCADA & HMI's using Allen Bradley, Siemens S7 and Mitsubishi platforms.
8. Work closely with the Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineer to ensure the controls and automation is compatible with mechanical & electrical designs.
9. Specify equipment from OEM's and manage all supporting documentation.
10. Create test documents, factory test reports, FAT tests (factory acceptance tests) and sign-off documentation.
11. Be present onsite for commissioning activities făurite O&M manuals (operation & maintenance manuals).
Experience and background:
1. HNC / HND in Electrical Engineering, preferably a degree.
2. Experienced in PLC stil and programming preferably with Allen Bradley, Siemens or Mitsubishi platforms.
3. A good understanding of SCADA systems.
4. Experienced in commissioning activities, fault finding automation down to field components.
5. Based or willing to relocate to Warwickshire.
