Hello all. I need your guidance.

I have a S7-1200 CPU with an Inverter from Yaskawa and a Posital Fraba absolute encoder with Profinet.
The concept is to guide the inverter with analog from the PLC and to have the feedback from the motor via Profinet through the encoder.
Can I set this whole plan as a techology object in TIA V14?
When I try to configure in the technology objects the encoder that is in the profinet does not appears in the option list.
Had anyone ever done thing like this before?

First of all you need GSDML file as from manual you can find in PC Worx V6.00.25 SP2.56 (Phoenix Contact)
If you bought from Posital they must give the GSDML with documentation.
What is exactly the code of the encoder?

Second: What Yaskawa drive do you use? For integrating in a TIA Project you also must have GSD file for controlling via Profibus for example or GSDML via Profinet. The drive must be controlled for Start, Stop....and so on..

This is a skeleton project for controlling Yaskawa drive with S7-1200.
This is how to connect Yaskava Drive with Profibus Control and connection of encoder to S7-1200 via Profinet.

You must start programming by deleting my data because they are only as example..has no functionality..
You can remove Comfort Panel, Switch and work only with PLC.
