Dear all ,
I have already running project of rsview 32 works 1500 in windows server due to freezing issue of system we upgraded the system to windows server 2008 32 bit . now I installed the software and also back up of OLd project have been open with this project . it opens ok but the issue is that TAG Database . All Tags need to again link with the RSlinx for and processor . I rslinx Communicating with MY PLC ok
Can You please tell me the procedure of linking tag and rslinx node configuration .what should I do for getting all tags beacuse when I open any machine in project I see all tags related the status of machine is there .but that need to link with PLC
what is procedure for this? I have 22 PLC in plant |

Try Tools---> Tag import/export wizard
When you import new tags, open "Edit Mode", "Tag Database",look in the lower left corner of the screen, underneath "Search For:".
You should see a small tree menu, with a File Folder icon. click on the folder to see what else is in there!
Your tags may be installed somewhere inside the main folder, but hidden from view until you open it up. |
