After Windows 10 update to version 1703 I can't start RSLogix 5000.
Error message is :
I've tried configuring Network Directory in FactoryTalk Directory Configuration Wizard but got this error :
FactoryTalk Directory Configuration Wizard did not complete successfully, either because you clicked Cancel or because an error occurred on step ‘Configure a Network Directory’.
To finish configuring the FactoryTalk Directory, run this wizard again at any time.
FactoryTalk Network Directory: Configuration incomplete. An error occured -
Step: Configure a Network Directory.
Error: Unknown error (0x80005000)
FactoryTalk Local Directory: Configuration incomplete.
Any ideas ? |

Compatibility for RSLogix 20.04.00 show that even V8 not supported
For your latest Win10 OS you test on your own but ....seems not to work.
For win10 1607 probably works as you attempt but you've got errors when developing projects ....
Maybe install on Win7 it's a wise idea... |

re-install FactoryTalk Directory and re-configure again.

Change the compatibility mode to win 7 or vista or xP sp3..
then try to open..
it will be ok...
