Thanks a lot for providing the links. Are there any license available for Logix Emulate v30 ? like any kind of patching or code that needs to be added to the license file in order to get done activation ? |

I'm unable to install Studio 5000 Logix Emulate v30
Question
Why can't I get Studio 5000 Emulate v30 to install on my computer? Why does it say Unable to install this version. Unable to upgrade Studio 5000 Logix Emulate ?
Environment
Studio 5000 Logix Emulate v30
Windows 7 OS (64-bit)
Windows 7 OS (32 bit)
Answer
If the user is installing Studio 5000 Emulate version 30.00 or higher, a 64 bit Operating System is required. The error / observation below will appear when using 32 bit Operating Systems.
Note. If installing Studio 5000 Emulate version 28.00 or to version 30.00, a 64 bit Operating System is also required.
If the user already has Studio 5000 Logix Emulate v20, v24, v28 installed, they will see the window bellow when trying to install v30.
The workaround for the time being is to uninstall the previous version of Emulate and then install v30. A reboot of the PC following the installation of Emulate v30 will be required.
After the installation of Emulate v30, the previous versions are always available.
