Hi,
I have an RSlogix 5000 V17 with their licence instaled in my station, and i would like connect with an API contains V19, i have a DVD contains software RSLogix 5000 V19, can i add just a V19 firmeware without licence for will connect.

Your licence is valid for any version of RSLogix 5000, all you need to do is install v19. All versions of RSLogix 5000 will co-exist with any other on the same machine.
Note that if your licence is the old disk-based type, the newest RSLogix 5000 version that you will be able to activate is v19. If you want to use v20 and above then you will need to call Rockwell support to upgrade your licence to a FactoryTalk activation. |
