A year after the manufacturer no longer exists!

What I want is to remove the routines protection , but I dont have the

"sk.dat" file.

Is there a way to remove this protection ?

Well I am using the tor browser since I want to be anonymous. The post in the other forum said that my IP address has been used for spam, but this is just because of my proxies. There is no virus, all the code is open sourced on the github page, you can read it for yourself.

Did you export to L5X file first? Did you get any kind of error? Try both the drag and drop and the copy and pate method, drag and drop may not work in old browsers.

Ok huynt, I was useing v20.0. Could you send me a sample L5X file from your version please? My email address is skdatmonster@hotmail.com. I think I know how to go but i need a test file. In the mean time, if you can get RSLogix V20 and re-save the L5X file then it should work.

Maelficus, are you seeing the same warning or different? What version?

Okay! I got the decryption for older versions working. It can now handle files that have EncryptionConfig="2" or EncryptionConfig="3". Yeo, I am not sure what the problem is exacly, but i think your browser doesn't handle some of the JavaScript. Try with a new Chrome or FireFox? Does it telol you what file the error is in other than line 120 char 1?

I still get an error with the one for encryption 2 the one for encryption 3 works though.

could you explain to me how to run the code you have on github. i can see but not sure how to run it. thank man works good on encyption 3 i just need the # 2 now :-/

I just got it by changing the v19 to 20 then running it.

Yes, sk.dat is a special formatted text file with your keys and key aliases. If you take the decoded key and add it to the sk.dat file, it will work easy. The quick way to add a key to sk.dat is to source protect another file in RSLogix and use the same key when it asks you.

This version can now also handle EncryptionConfig="6" which is for newer versions of RSLogix 5000. However, in the new version, they have changed how source keys are stored, so it can't recover source keys when EncryptionConfig="6". I haven't finished looking at that, maybe I can fix it, maybe it would need rainbow tables. Even though, if a file is EncryptionConfig="6", you can still copy the decrypted XML out of the right box, save that in a new .L5X file, and import that into a project to get your logic back.

nage37 and cuongvcs, my email provider has closed, so I don't have an email address right now to send test files to. I will let you know when I make a new one.
