Hi!
Is RSEmulate 20 is avaible? or RSEmulate 19.01 can emulate the programs created with RSLogix 20?
I have to make a program with the new 5370 PLC which requires the RSLogix 20 and I want to emulate it. How can I do?

hi mojo!
any news about V20 of emulate 5k?
so, can i download upgrade (really downgrade) V19 in rslogix 5000 v20? and older versions? because i have older programs made in V15 V16 and i don't want to update controler, any idea?

It may be possible to downgrade your project but it isn't officially supported. To convert to an earlier version you must do the following:
This is an example from V18 to v17...
1. Open the Project to be converted
2. Export the project to a .L5K file format using the Save As option. Make sure you change the Save As File type from .ACD to .L5K
3. Minimize RSLogix and browse to the folder where the exported file was saved.
4. Open the project in a text editor (like Notepad). You can right click on the file and select Open With
5. Modify the Import Export Version (IE_VER on line #12). Version 18 projects use IE ver 2.9. Change the number to 2.8 for version 17.
6. Return to RSLogix and Import the .L5K file using File, Open
Do the same for your downgrade needs....from V20 to V19... |

I have the version V20 that i download here in forum, but the rslogix emulate is version V19... Only if i download the logix 5k V19 is possible emulate the program or have other things can i do?
I work about 5 years with Siemens S7300 e 400, now i'm learning about AB controlers...

another point...
when i open my old project (v15) exist a option to install the controller firmware V15 support... i look in the internet and found only a option in AB web page, thats require a valid serial and contract...
this is the only way?

I believe that SIEMENS is better than Allen Bradley but this is your option....!!!
It seems you have to download V19....
