Can anyone help me out here, I am trying to test if Comms is working on a BUM616 trying to achieve 485 connection using HyperTerminal via 232 into an ADAM (485 Converter) then into the drive.

When I send any data to the drive I do not get a response back. The manual says if the data doesn't make sense to the drive then it will just do nothing

I am not sure if the data I am sending is incomplete - 020401000000

Does anyone have any experience with these drives?

Help would be massively appreciated
