Long story short,
I got thrown into a project with FactoryTalk and I am making reports with Report Expert. It's been a struggle but have got everything set up but am to the point where the plant manager would like a custom dashboard.
The issue is that I need to use Microsoft Reporting Services to create these custom templates, and Rockwell's PDF manual on how to do this is restricted to TechConnect users. I'm sure the management would pay for the support, but I believe I literally just need this one PDF to help me get the dashboard set up.
The article is called "Creating Custom Reports using Report Expert DPE", article number 69017, and the PDF is contained in this forum.
Does anyone have access to this PDF and would be generous enough to share it with me? I will pay a small amount for your time downloading it if you wish.. |

Thank you sooo much! I had already printed out the Report Expert User guide and read it cover to cover, but it didn't cover making custom reports and considered that "an advanced task" .. but I found a lab from RSTechED 2012 that briefly covered custom reports and that lab referenced the PDF that you provided. I'm very grateful for your help, thanks!! |

Thanks for the link, but the company doesn't have VantagePoint and I have to make the reports using Report Expert. |
