|
|
hi guys
i have a problem to communication between schnider plc(tsxp57203 ) and schnider majelis hmi (xbtgt2220)
Network topology is as follows:
I made a connection cable as follows:
rs485 2 wire connecton
I got the following setting to the VijeoDesigner program on hmi:
Programming software: VijeoDesigner 5.1 sp1
Communication :unitelway
serial interface:rs-485
Address: 2
Baudrate: 19200
prity bit:odd
stop bit :1
Communication is done successfully and hmi successfully online, but there are communication error
As you can see in the picture below
1)prity bit on hmi Displayed none
2)Baudrate Reduced to 300
3)The error counter increases rapidly
In your opinion my pinout connection was wrong between hmi and plc?
please help me....
thanks |

Maybe you have a mismatch on baudrate speed:
As long as you have in VJD the Baudrate: 19200
and in terminal Baudrate: 300 there is a problem
Try to lower the baudrate in VJD until the terminal support that speed... |

thanks for your reply
i tested several baudrate from 100 to 19200
only at 19200 baudrate connection is okey but in hmi baudrate speed automaticly Reduce to 300 and error connection Increase!!! |

The two TER and AUX ports on the TSX P ACC 01 device have the same standard functions as the TER and AUX connectors on Premium/Atrium PLC station processors.
l The TER connector on the device is used to connect any device which supports UNI-TELWAY protocol, and in special link up devices without their own power supply (RS 485/RS 232 cable converter, etc)
l The AUX connector on the device is only used to connect devices with a power supply (man-machine interface console, third-party devices etc).
Note: The TSX P ACC 01 device is supplied from the TER connector on the PLC to which is it connected. As a result, the TER connector on the device enables devices with their own power supply (CCX 17 etc) or without their own power supply (RS 485/RS 232 cable converter etc) to be supplied.
If the user wants to connect the terminal port of a second PLC to one of the ports on the TSX P ACC 01 device, AUX connectors (on the device and PLC) must be used to avoid power supply conflicts on the two PLCs.
On the other hand XBGT is not quite a standard RS485...it needs pin6 to connect to RTS ?
So maybe you have to test an adapter/isolator because there are some conflicts on the network.
Conclusion is that on Schneider Automation connecting is a MESS....
From the image that a colleague put above RS485 is not quite an RS485...it requires pin6 to connect...this is the mess...
At least you've made a proper setting for TSX P ACC 01
