Via the RF188C communication module, SIMATIC RF300 readers are integrated into a control system via PROFINET. The “Ident” / “Ident Profile” S7 blocks are used to control this configuration.
The task is to integrate a SIMATIC RF300 reader into an S7 control system via PROFINET. Using the reader, basic RFID functionalities are to be implemented.
The RF188C communication module was developed to connect the SIMATIC RFID readers to an S7 control system via PROFINET. The “Ident” S7 program blocks are used to control the readers.
