You have the following options for retro-installing .NET Framework 3.5. Choose the option that best suits your needs. (Not every option is possible with each IPC or for each version of Windows.)
Enable or disable Windows features (internet connection required)
Right-click "Start" and start "Programs and Features".
The "Programs and Features" window opens.
Click "Enable or disable Windows features".
The "Windows Features" window opens.
Select the option ".NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)"
Confirm with "OK".
.NET Framework 3.5 is installed.

"Restore Medium" or "Documentation & Drivers" DVD (Only for Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB and Windows 10 Enterprise CBB)

Find the "microsoft-windows-netfx3-ondemand-package.cab" file on the Windows 10 Standard ISO Image.
Note the file path ("...\Windows10\sources\sxs", for example).
Start the Windows input prompt with administrator rights by calling this command:

Using the "Deployment Image Servicing and Management" (DISM) tool you set all the language settings to English. Call the DISM for this with the following parameters and replace the drive letter "C" in the example with the drive letter of your Windows installation:

Shut down your SIMATIC IPC and remove the DVD. Boot Windows Server 2012 R2.

Uninstall the language packages
Start the Setup program to install or uninstall language packages (LPKSetup). For this you execute the following command with administrator rights:
