No problem..always on learning process making mistakes is getting you smarter...
In your case ...consider you did not have that PLC...
Get another one and supply with proper Supply Voltage...
Good luck..!!!! |

When you apply a wrong input voltage to a S7-200 PLC,, you blow the solid-state fuse that is on the CPU's power input line. Here are its caracteristics, as described in the S7-200 System manual:
Fuse (non-replaceable) 3 A, 250 V Slow Blow (DC CPUs)
2 A, 250 V Slow Blow (AC CPUs)
Notice the "non-replaceable" designation. It does not mean it cannot be replaced, physically. We have done this several times (we had one particularly negligent client at the time....). It means that Siemens does not recommend that you do it, and will probably not be held responsiblefor any unit that has been tampered with without their supervision, or any damage that could be incurred by the use of one. So this is totally up to your own judgement (we only used the repaired units in test and/or training conditions, never in plants).
Prying the cover off is a delicate operation, the plastic tabs are fragile, but can be done with patience. Then locating the blown fuse is rather easy, it leaves a noticeable trace, and a foul smell if you attempt this soon after damage. Then it is a matter of unsoldering and resoldering the replacement fuse, which can be located in mostgood electronics sotre. Act withwith due diligenceas usual.
So think about whether this is something that should be done before you attempt it, and understand that you will have no protection from Siemens if you do. A S7-200 CPU is not very expensive to start with, so it could be replaced if you choose to do so. |
