I have activated RSLogix 5000 by methods in previous texts. Factory Talk Activation ManagerV3.40.00, manger says there is Sftlgx 5800 activation but when l start Sftlgx it says no activation. I have changed the DLL, 34 02 to 30 90 with the Factory Talk service OFF ( l take it this is the same as starting windows in safe mode as it worked for RS5K ?) added the License (which as l have said says is activated) also reloaded program and tried using the later method by Messer 4/8/2013 using different serial # but still no go. Start Chassis Monitor and it comes up NO Activation. Any ideas would be appreciated. Also what is the main advantage of Sftlgx over the Emulator? Regards Duckman Hello Duckman, im having the same issue dll patched, .lic file modified and licence shows up in FT, but still get error saying not activation? i have had a look around on here but i have not found a conclusive answer and tried lots of different methods, install, uninstall, serial numbers? Did you manage to sort this out?
